truth and change?

“When our lives and corporate profits clash, we will overturn the corporation.
When our lives and the government’s thinking clash, we will overturn the government.”

--Yasuji Hanamori

If only...

Instead, I draw and write. Maybe it changes something.

The same scamming weasels who just crashed the entire mortgage banking system have now been given the keys to the Treasury.
They did this in large part by holding the rest of the economy hostage, saying that "If we go, it all goes"
So much to be learned from the tactics of terrorism.
And, to our loss, they learned their lessons well, and made a clean getaway.
But, it only delays the inevitable, a house of cards built upon shifting sands will fall.

I really like the phrase: screaming weasels...very aptly put.

The only comfort I can take from this whole situation is that I am already so low on the totem pole, that it really won't affect me.

In my life, times are always tight, choices are always hard. Okay, that might be a tad melodramatic, but I am certainly a member of the working poor, the creative blue-collar-class. What's going to happen to me? Will my job take away the health insurance I don't have?

Ha. Time to slow down, I say. Time for Obama.

Chris Said: that was me above as
"anonymous", but it is a sad day
when it has come down to this.
My advice is to order your life in such a manner that you are as insulated/protected from the flimflam
pseudo-economy as possible.
I am a Carpenter, and have spent my whole working life building houses,
and houses are the poker chips that
all these paper pushing crooks used in their tacky schemes to suck the life out of gullible greedy people.
